Incredibly proud of all my fellow Coherts that managed to not only to survive the poltics of a closing school and pandemic, but produce some outstanding work. For me its been a roller coaster of a ride. Going back to college after 20 + years (ha ha ha not teling exactly but a lot) of being in the art world was a big risk. I wasnt sure how i would react to being in a class room situation again - physical and virtual, but i took to it really well and surprised my self. I was open to all the challenges and fully embraced it. Incredible tutors and students that pushed and proded me and challenged my perceptions. Although a mix media artist before , being back in college push me more into experimentation not just with my ideas, but also other mediums such as New Genres and particularly Film. I now consider film as part of my repertoire of skills that will help and advance my ideas and philosophies on art. I am deeply grateful for my time at the San Francisco Art Institute and to everyone that helped me achiving my MFA. Thank you xx
